Anthony Valente, Attorney at Law, began his career in criminal justice as a police officer for the Indio Police Department in 1985. After working in the patrol and detective division for more than four years, Anthony was hired by the California Department of Justice.
Anthony was an Attorney General Investigator assigned to the Bureau of Medi-Cal Fraud & Patient Abuse from 1989 to 1994, at which time he transferred into the Department of Justice, California Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
While working as a Special Agent for CBI, Anthony spent eight years in various assignments including child exploitation and Internet crimes; white collar crime and fraud; and public corruption and police misconduct.
Anthony was the Attorney General's case agent for the investigation of the California Department of Insurance (Under Commissioner Chuck Quackenbush) and handled the Riverside Police Department investigation in the aftermath of the Tyisha Miller shooting that resulted in a Consent Decree.
Anthony transferred to the California Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement (BNE) in 2002 where he served as the Task Force Commander of the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force and Inland Crackdown Allied Task Force handling major narcotics cases.
In 2012, Anthony was assigned as the Special Agent Supervisor for the California Bureau of Firearms (BOF) where he was in charge of all Armed-Prohibited Persons cases and Gun Show Enforcement for Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
In January 2014, Anthony left the Department of Justice and worked with Criminal Law Specialist and famed Defense Attorney John Patrick Dolan on a multitude of felony and misdemeanor cases. Anthony continues to achieve successful outcomes for clients using his background in law enforcement and criminal defense in the most wide range of cases.

Anthony Valente possess an undergraduate degree in Criminology from the University of La Verne and Juris Doctorate degree from Concord Law School. He is a member of the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice and Desert Bar Association.
