NEW CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR FAMILY LAW CASES
Effective August 6, 2018, the Family Law Divisions with the Riverside Superior Court will launch the use of a new case management system called eCourt®. The new system will provide efficiencies for staff and enhance the court’s ability to maintain complete and easily accessible records. Information about existing cases will be converted from the current legacy system to the new system in order maintain the continuity of court records. Additionally, the new case management system will enable parties to file family law documents electronically in the future.
Family Law case information internally and remotely will still be accessible via the Court’s website at www.riverside.courts.ca.gov/publicaccess.shtml. The case information available is limited to what the California Rules of Court, rules 2.503(b) and 2.503(c) allow.
Please be aware that on Friday, August 3, 2018, and the week following implementation, it is anticipated that the process of filing documents will take longer than usual as the court staff adjusts to the new system.
For more information, please contact Family Law Director, Arlene Cervantes at 951-7773121 or Arlene.Cervantes@riverside.courts.ca.gov.
The Court appreciates your patience while we make the transition to the new case management system.
